Visit to Nepal
Six members of Dronfield Rotary Club have recently returned from a fact finding visit to Nepal. The trip enabled them to see the work of the Fishtail Fund in the city of Pokhara. On one fabulous and unbelievable day the Dronfield team visited Prithvi Rupa School which we intend to rebuild on a safe site after the earthquake damaged the current school buildings.
Club members in the UK have steadily raised almost £20K towards the project. The Rotary Benevolent Trust matched our effort with a further £20K and so with £40K towards the project the school can be built, after just six months of fundraising!
