Taiwanees Visitors to Dronfield Rotary Club        back
Group Study Exchange visits allow young professionals to spend a month in another land. In Late September 2008 a group from Taiwan came to Dronfield, and next year a similar group will travel to Taiwan from our District 1220 to the capital Taipei. Each young professional has the opportunity to learn more of his or her professional counterparts in the other country by spending a series of days working alongside them.

The visit to Dronfield Rotary Club lasted three days, during which a party visited local attractions including the crooked spire, the Mayor's parlour in Chesterfield Town Hall, Derwent Dams as well as Chatsworth House. They stayed in the homes of local people.
