Rotary Village in India
Val Leivers, past District Governor of Rotary district 1220 along with her husband Terry decided to build a village in a deprived and poverty-stricken region of India, with support from clubs in Rotary district 1220. This followed Val and Terry's previous remarkable achievement in raising funds to sink a large number of wells in India. - read more

Local student to teach English in Nepal
Emma Whitelaw is being part sponsored by the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Dronfield to travel to Nepal during her gap year and is to teach English in schools in the Pokhara area. - read more

Santas Sleigh
This year the sleigh raised £3224.80. It is all in a good cause. The donations collected by the sleigh help to support a wide range of community projects in Dronfield, and international projects world wide. - read more

Music and Magic Spectacular

Music in the Gardens success
The local Rotary Clubs of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire proudly presented the summer Music in the Gardens concerts on the 4th to the 7th July this year. Four evenings of wonderfully talented artists in the perfect setting of the Sheffield Botanical Gardens. - read more
